The real estate market may have slowed down a bit, but well-priced homes in good communities are still very much in demand!
Can you believe that I almost didn’t buy this house?
The seller was in the process of evicting a tenant and wanted to sell, but not for a penny less than $90k.
While $90k wasn’t a bad deal, the home had a lot of deferred maintenance.
Ultimately, I agreed since my plan was not to flip it but to follow the slow flip strategy (think BRRRR strategy with a twist).
Now, nearly 8 years later and after an eviction (full story on Tiktok), it’s time to sell and redeploy the equity into bigger and better deals.
While holding long-term is an excellent wealth-building strategy, sometimes selling to redeploy your equity into another deal (or multiple deals) will produce a significantly higher return.
That’s the difference between the slow flip strategy and the BRRRR strategy.
