In this video I’m gonna show you how the eXp Realty Equity Program works and how it helps agents build wealth for retirement. Most agents don’t realize that they could work 50 – 60 hours a week for the next 5, 10, 20 plus years and when it comes time to retire, they don’t have any equity in their business.
Other than what they could sell superlight boxes, or signs for their businesses and how many market value and this is a very tough demanding stressful industry to be in to work that long and that hard and not having actual equity in your business that you could sell to fund your lifestyle and retirement. Glen Sanford realize that, so that’s why with the eXp Realty he wanted to make sure that agents can earn equity and build wealth while running their business.
So when it comes time to retire, they have something of value that they could sell. With the eXp realty you can earn stock in the company five different ways. With a Sustainable Equity Plan, when agents do their first transaction every single year they will earn $200 in stock in a company. When they cap they’ll earn $400 in stock in the company, every single year. And for every agent that they refer to eXp, when that agent does their first transaction every year they’ll earn stock but so well, you as a sponsoring agent will earn $400 of stock.
Then there’s the ICON Agent Award. This is a game changing program for high producers that when they hit a certain production, they’ll actually get their $16,000 cap back to them as a stock award. And then there’s the Sustainable Equity Plan. This is like a 401k program. It’s completely optional. I think every agent should opt in because they can take 5% of their commission and buy stock at a 10% discount. To amazing opportunity to build wealth and buy an asset at a discount.
The sustainable Equity Plan and icon agent awards that are given to you do have a vesting period from two to three years depending on the award, a portion of the ICON Agent Award is actually awarded to you immediately agent equity program only has a 60-day vesting period. Once you vested and the stock is yours, you can do anything you want with it.
